Luz María López, born in Puerto Rico, is a poet, narrator, editor, bilingual translator, international cultural promoter, and human rights activist. She has published several books of poetry, short stories, and essays.
She is the Editor-in-Chief of five international poetry and narrative anthologies, (2) Spanish, (3) English. Her poems have been translated into fifteen languages so far and published in four books of selected authors, prestigious literary magazines in America, Asia, and Europe and multilingual international anthologies. She has translated the work of many poets and narrators of different nationalities. Kathak Literary Award 2017.
She has participated in international poetry festivals and International Book Fairs in Puerto Rico, Colombia, Ghana, India, Bangladesh, Mexico, Tunisia, and Cuba. Her style nurtures multicultural brotherhood, promotes peace and social justice.
